ELMIA Subcontractor is one of the world’s leading trade fairs dedicated to manufacturing and outsourcing and is held regularly at the Elmia Exhibition and Convention Centre in Jönköping, Sweden.

The exhibition involves disparate industrial realities and offers important possibilities for collaboration and consolidation of synergies. This year also Palmieri Tools Forging will be present at ELMIA Subcontractor from 14 to 16 November, at stand B02:116.

ELMIA Subcontractor pays attention to sustainability and the environment

ELMIA Subcontractor covers a wide range of industrial sectors: from mechanical engineering to automation, from metallurgy to information technology, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the world.

In fact, there are many companies – both large and small – that every year decide to participate in the exhibition to promote their products and services, taking advantage of the opportunity to discover new technologies, establish new contacts and find important subcontracting partners.

To foster synergies, ELMIA organizes events, seminars and conferences where industry experts discuss the latest trends and challenges in the manufacturing sector, actively promoting meetings between exhibitors and visitors.

Sustainability and respect for the environment are the other two important issues promoted by the Swedish exhibition, increasingly sensitive to the improvement of energy efficiency, infrastructure and logistics, not only for others but especially for itself.

In Elmia, electricity is 100% renewable and does not contribute to CO2 emissions. The roofs of the exhibition center are also filled with solar panels for energy storage and the charging stations for electric cars continue to expand both at the fair and in the adjacent structures.

In addition, ELMIA uses the water from Lake Vättern (the second largest lake in Sweden) to cool the exhibition halls with pumps and temperature exchangers.
